STEP 1 — ADD YOUR CONFORMER
Start by visiting our Conformer Page and adding a conformer to your order.
The conformer allows us to capture the unique shape and size of your head so we can create a hat specifically for you.
 
STEP 2 — CHOOSE YOUR HAT BAND
Every custom hat includes a plain leather hat band at no additional charge.
Want something a little different? Upgrade your hat with:
Casing Shell Hat Band — +$175
Add the Casing Shell Hat Band to your order.
Beaded Hat Band — +$175
Choose your Beaded Hat Band and add it to your order.
 
STEP 3 — CHOOSE YOUR FUR
Choose the fur felt you would like your custom hat made from:
100% Rabbit Fur Felt
50/50 Beaver Fur Felt
100% Beaver Fur Felt
50/50 Beaver / Chinchilla Fur Felt
Once your order has been placed, we will contact you with the available colour options for your selected fur.
 
STEP 4 — TELL US ABOUT YOUR HAT
This is where you can tell us what you have in mind!
Add as much detail as you'd like about the look and style you are going for. If you would like a custom burn design, describe what you would like burned into your hat.
Don't worry if you don't have every detail figured out yet. Once your order is placed, we will work with you to finalize the design. NOTE: IF YOU WOULD LIKE MORE THEN ONE BURN ON YOUR NEW HAT THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE. CHOOSE THE SIZE OF BURN AND ADD TO CHART.
 
STEP 5 — COMPLETE YOUR ORDER
After your order has been received, Branded Brims Custom Hats will contact you directly to discuss your design further, go over the details of your hat, and send you the available colour options for the type of fur you selected.
From there, we'll work together to bring your custom hat to life.

Why the Conformer Matters - Custom Hat Deserves a Custom Fit
Just like no two horses are the same, no two heads are shaped alike. Our conformer captures every curve, angle, and crown point of your head—something a simple tape measure or guess can’t do. That’s why it’s the heart of every Branded Brims custom hat.
To guarantee that perfect fit, you must use our conformer when sizing. Hats ordered without a conformer measurement are not eligible for remakes, or fit corrections. Your hat is shaped to your exact pattern, and that pattern only comes from the conformer.
If you want a hat that fits with true Western confidence, the conformer isn’t optional—it’s required.
